Some great books came out today so I thought I’d share my reviews.

Rosie & Rex: A Nose for Fun! by Bob Boyle [**]- Mo Willems definitely set the bar high for unlikely friendships because it's hard not to compare Rosie and Rex to Elephant and Piggie. This wacky duo has a hard time agreeing on what to do for fun- play with robots or play tea time. They find a mysterious object that lets their imagination run wild guessing what it can be. The answer surprises them and solves both their problems. Cute!

Weasels by Elys Dolan [***]- Hilarious! Immediately reminded me of Pinky and the Brain! But, the adventures and misadventures of these super caffeinated, machine-tinkering weasels are completely original and guaranteed to make the readers laugh!

Hi, Koo! by Jon J. Muth [***]- Jon J. Muth’s takes readers into alphabetical journey through the seasons using haikus featuring a playful pondering panda bear named Koo!

Timmy Failure: Now Look What You've Done by Stephan Pastis [***]- In this equally hilarious follow-up to Mistakes Were Made, Timmy Failure continues to prove to the world he’s the greatest detective in the world. For some reason, I was expecting this installment to go a little deeper into his psyche and his relationships and I was surprised it didn’t. But since there wasn’t any indication it was going to, I wouldn’t hold it against it. The third book, We Meet Again, comes out October 28, 2014.
