Pancho Rabbit and the Coyote by Duncan Tonatiuh [***]- First of all, I was impressed by the illustrations- a mix of collage and digital media. This modern fairy tale tackles the issue of families having to travel to another land to earn a living. Pura Belpré Author and Illustrator Honor book 2014

I’m only reading six books right now:

-On Crosswords
-The Secret Adversary
-The Night Gardener

-More Tales of the City
-Harriet the Spy

Hopefully, I’ll finish one of them before starting on a new title!

Have a great reading week!

Pancho Rabbit and the Coyote sounds like a book I must find for our current theme. I love all of Margarita Engle’s work – I should find Tiny Rabbit’s Big Wish soonest. The Book that will make you like books also caught my eye as well as the new Benjamin Chaud title. Thanks for sharing all these, Earl!

Can’t wait to read this title by the Reynolds. Love the cover and am curious about their collaboration.

Thank you for sharing all of these new-to-me books.

    Happy reading this week 🙂
