This week I’m celebrating being a Bookseller!

I love my job. I work at a wonderfully unique children’s bookstore- Green Bean Books! It’s a great place for both kids and adults to discover something new, creative and inspiring!

Whether on this blog’s or Green Bean Books’ Facebook page, it seems a day doesn’t go by where I’m singing praises about working there.

“Sunshine, books, and talking with other voracious readers… What a great way to spend an afternoon!”

“Love connecting with other passionate readers! There are just so many great books to discover and talk about!”

“What a beautiful day! Already this morning, we’ve gotten mistaken for a post office! And we bonded over Shel Silverstein’s poetry! One of them even had a tattoo based on one of his poems! I love how books bring people together!”

Which bookstore makes you celebrate? Free free to post on Twitter using the hashtag #Icelebrate .

What a great job & it sounds like an awesome bookstore. A few bookstores that make me celebrate are Anderson’s in Naperville, Illinois, Red Balloon & Hmong ABC in St. Paul, Birchbark Books & Wild Rumpus in Minneapolis.

I so wish we had an indie bookstore in my area. Sadly, ours went out of business a few years ago. How fortunate you are to work at a fabulous bookstore!

A lovely celebration Earl! I love my local children’s bookstore – Vancouver Kidsbooks – the staff is fantastic and inspired!
