An early concept book in which the illustrations are much more intriguing than the text. This can be a nice guessing game for adults to read to kids to help them with their reading. For example, “I am in the nest,” said the (kid guesses) bird.
In this sequel to The Bear’s Song, Benjamin Chaud brings back his father-son bear team in another visual storytelling treat. Readers will enjoy searching for the two in the large picture spreads in their latest adventure.
I can’t understand Pete’s appeal. Maybe his books with songs are much better because this one just fell flat to me. It’s a good message though that people may not be good at what everyone else is good at but there is something.
