Photographs of babies from all over the world with a sweet message. Great introduction to diversity. My only problem was they repeated countries in each book. I wouldn’t think it’d be necessary!

Island: A Story of the Galápagos by Jason Chin [***]

I enjoyed this biography of island. Jason Chin does a great job with narrative nonfiction. The illustrations throughout the book- including the endpapers- are beautiful. I loved all the additional fascinating information about natural selection and adaptive radiation at the end of the book!

I bet that ‘baby’ book is very cute, Earl. I’ve read Island, just a marvelous book. I’d love to go there. Thanks for reminding me about this book!

Island is just brilliant. I am glad you liked it.
Will have to look for “Babies” to share with Trent. I’ve read one of the others with him.
