Feathers sounds intriguing – and Babymouse always makes me smile. Looks like you had a great week. I love Dame Christie – but haven’t read any of her books recently.
I’ve only read one William Stafford poem once for school and although I don’t quite remember it I think I quite liked it! I always quite enjoy reading children’s literature because there authors really try to integrate big themes into the story rather than just plonk them right in front of the reader to deal with! Thanks for sharing 🙂 I hope you enjoy all of your books! My Monday post

Big Bug-what a pretty cover. My students would snatch it up for cover appeal. I was lucky enough to pick up and have autographed a copy of Happy Birthday Babymouse at TX Library Association Conference. Love that Jenni Holm!
I’ll have to add the new Babymouse to our next order. They are good for my youngest graphic novel fans. I remember really liking The Grapes of Wrath when I read it years ago. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
Before I started reading your post, I was searching for The Girl and the Bicycle. When I couldn’t find it in my CT library search, I returned to your post and saw your comment that it is coming out at the end of April. Darn! I added it to my TBR list. Have you read The Boy and the Airplane? It is by the same author, and it came up in my search. 🙂
I read two poetry books last week, and I’ve been meaning to know more of Stafford’s poetry – seems like this book is a great place to start. Good to know about The Girl and the Bicycle – sounds like a title that I could include in my multicultural children’s lit text-set.
I should probably look into getting this Babymouse book for my class, they like the ones they already have. Have a great reading week.
The Girl and the Bicycle sounds great, I read the blurb and it looks like a keeper. Thanks for sharing it.
Have fun with Murder on the Links! I love Agatha Christie’s books. 🙂

We just had a discussion about ‘grit’ last week. It looks like The Girl And The Bicycle would fit this very well. Thanks for all the others too, Earl.

Can’t wait to read the new Babymouse!! 🙂 Feathers looks fantastic, keep hearing about it lately too! Happy reading week…
So glad to see that Stafford collection, Earl – such an amazing poet.
Haven’t read that Babymouse book–I really need to finish the series as I’ve only read random books from the series.
Happy reading this week 🙂

I really need to get Feathers, it just looks so beautiful!
