I’ve moved over to The StoryGraph to avoid the Amazon-owned Goodreads. It’s still a learning curve and it doesn’t have some of the convenience Goodreads offers but, at least, I’ve been reviewing again. I’m trying this new format this week which saves me a bit of time but I wish they included the covers.
You can view all my reviews over on The StoryGraph.
Thanks for visiting my blog. Happy Reading!
I’ve been thinking of moving over the The Storygraph too, to avoid the Amazon connection, maybe I’ll finally take the plunge and just do it!
I enjoyed Red, White & Blue by Rajani LaRoca, will look for Where Three Oceans Meet, Earl. You’ve been sharing some new books to me, so I noted some. Thanks!
I borrowed Stuntboy from the library, but had to return it before I could read it. I hadn’t realized the length of it until I got it.
Stuntboy is now available as an audiobook from my local library. Will it work in this format?
I listened to a sample of the audiobook and it has a full cast and sound effects. If I remember correctly, the guy who narrates Jason’s other books does this one, too. Of course, you’ll miss out on the illustrations but I say just flip through the book after you listen to it.
Hey, I also just read Chirp. I liked how the abuse didn’t define the protagonist, even as it had had a major effect on her. Her life continues even as she learns to cope with what happened, aided by friends and family. And crickets!
